Eight New Indian School students came away with awards at the recent competitive art exhibition hosted by Southeastern Community College in Burlington.
The competition is for high school students from 25 schools in eastern Iowa.
"The students had submitted beautiful work, and I was very pleased with the judges' results," said Greg Thatcher, the students' art teacher, and chair of New Indian School's Art Department.
