Maharishi School Boys Blank Fort Madison On the Road

FORT MADISON — Less than 24 hours removed from Monday’s marathon match against Ottumwa, Maharishi School was back at it on the road against Fort Madison.

The Pioneers improved their dual record to 6-1 on the year with a 9-0 pounding of the Bloodhounds. Maharishi School held a 108-8 advantage in games won over the course of the nine matches.

Thomas Weiss, Derek Thatcher and Raphael Gelfand didn’t drop a single game and rounded up 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play.

Maharishi School has the rest of the week off before heading to the Ottumwa Invite Saturday where it will meet host Bulldogs, Oskaloosa and Keokuk.
