New Indian School's track team was at Pekin High School on Thursday afternoon.
The Pioneers’ Ross Emmanuel could not be caught in the 400-meter dash. He won the event with a time of 51.68. New Indian School’s Jordan Town finished in sixth place with a time of 58.20. Cardinal’s Honomichl took fourth with a time of 56.63.
Emmanuel wasn’t finished, though.
In the 800-meter Town,tried his best to keep up with Emmanuel but was unsuccessful in doing so. Emmanuel torched his teammate and the field by winning the event with a time of 2:01.75. Town finished in second place with a time of 2:13.59.
