Important Back to School Information

Dear Parents,

It is our pleasure to welcome you and your children to the 2013-14 school year. Before school starts on Wednesday, August 21, teachers will be participating in Faculty Development seminars, gaining a deeper understanding of Maharishi’s Principles of Ideal Teaching as they apply to Consciousness-Based education, as well as refining their teaching skills through practical workshops.

At the end of last school year, a mailing was sent out to each family that included handouts that can now be found at the following links on Maharishi School’s website:

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL Wednesday, August 21—STUDENTS TO ARRIVE BY 10:30 AM—Convocation to Begin at 10:55 am

On our first day of school, Wednesday, August 21, students should arrive by 10:30 am so that they may promptly be seated in the Auditorium by 10:50 am, at which time we will begin our Convocation ceremonies for the 2013-14 school year. All parents are warmly invited to join us in the Henry Ogden Clark Auditorium (Assembly Hall), as we begin our new year. Parking is available at the Fieldhouse.

We are all looking forward to another joyful and progressive school year. As always, I welcome your suggestions and feedback. Our children deserve the very best on their path to enlightenment, and I feel it is through all of us working together—parents, teachers and administrators—that our School becomes truly great!
