Maharishi School Parent Teacher Student Organization is dedicated to the long-term, sustainable growth and success of Maharishi School and the Consciousness-Based system of education it offers. The Parent Teacher Student Organization seeks to support the School by facilitating communication between parents, teachers, and the School, and by maximizing teachers' and parents' involvement and creative contributions to the School’s success on all levels.
Enjoy an opportunity to play an important and active role in the growth, development, and success of Maharishi School.
The Class Parent welcomes new families and students, organizes class social events, supports the teacher, and creates a phone and e-mail list for the class. They are not required to attend PTSO meetings, although all parents are encouraged to attend.
The Welcoming Committee helps new families and students to feel comfortable and at home at Maharishi School and in the community. This committee helps connect new families with a host family, and helps them find resources in the community.
This committee creates a fun event on the first weekend of the school year to welcome new and returning families back to school.
